Standing Partnership Announces 2009 Charlottesville Community Partner

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (May 5, 2009) - Standing Partnership, a leading strategic communications firm with a growing presence in Charlottesville, announces The Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) as its Charlottesville pro bono community partner for 2009. The firm will provide strategic communications support for the launch of a new, signature board development program for the CNE.

"We're delighted to work with the CNE as this year's community partner," said Cathy Dunkin, president of Standing Partnership. "The CNE provides training, tools, and leverages resources for many nonprofits in the Charlottesville area, and by supporting their initiatives we can effectively support the entire nonprofit community."

The CNE was chosen from a number of area nonprofits who responded to a request for interest from eligible community partners via the Standing Partnership blog www.standingpr.com/blog.
