president & ceo Cathy founded Standing Partnership in 1991, creating a place where she enjoyed coming to work every day. Cathy describes Standing Partnership's team as, “a group of the most talented people with whom I’ve had the opportunity to work. Each person brings a strong commitment to our core values, is committed to demonstrating results for our clients, and is respected for their ethical approach to businesses.”
With nearly 25 years of experience in the communications industry, one of her favorite campaigns was managing publicity for the 70th Birthday of Hostess Cupcakes. Cathy is an active member in both the St. Louis and national public relations communities. She is a former Americas Region Chair for the Worldcom Public Relations Group, serves on the Executive Committee of the Council of Public Relations Firms and is also a former board member for the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association (RCGA). Cathy has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
When she’s not in her business suit, Cathy is a hard-hitting defender for the St. Louis Surge women’s ice hockey team. Her softer side includes volunteering for children's causes, traveling and exploring new restaurants.
