Standing Partnership's picks of must-read links for the week
Reviewing the social bookmarks of the Standing team always provides a snapshot of what we're working on and thinking about. It's interesting to see where themes emerge. This week, education and health care -- particularly where these industries mashup with social media, seems to be the focus.
- Education Week reports on the "secret online lives of teens." Not such a secret to any of us who know a teenager.
- Prospective students aren't creating content and
participating in conversations online as often as colleges and
universities might think. But they are on social media sites to listen.
It's up to schools to develop tools to measure this type of engagement.
- Twitter's best practices for businesses
- Exciting health care news in St. Louis -- the first heart and kidney transplant took place at Barnes-Jewish Hospital
- Political marketing communications hit the mobile space... in 2004-2008 it was innovative to use social media for political campaigns and now mobile apps are the new frontier
