Standing Partnership's picks of must-read links for the week
- Shel Holtz asks, Are you Ready to Incorporate QR codes into Your Communications? The answer for Standing Partnership and for many of our clients is almost. How about you? (See Standing's QR code below!)
- A new study says PR messages are getting lost to 48 percent of media. Messages that were transparent and tied back to brand essence were
better represented than messages with aspirational language.
- Love, love, love your job? St. Louis Magazine is now taking nominations for the BestPlaces to Work 2011.
- An interesting account of the fake BP Twitter account, what BP
did and what they could have done.
- A great idea that not enough health care providers are using - FREE
language interpretor services via video.
- Obsession is good for business, apparently -- just ask Chipotle.
- A great resource for finding higher education events and
conferences.

I’m exploring QR code applications for several of our clients, and I’m amazed at how easy they are to read and generate. We’re advising our teams to be familiar, be aware and try it out! (Europe and Japan are WAY AHEAD of us…excepting progressive companies like Pottery Barn!) Personally, I’d love to see QR codes stick as the replacement to WWW addresses on everything.
