I haven't been watching TV this morning, but I did pop on YouTube to see what was recently posted. This lengthy CNN piece, which is on Hurricane Ike watch, mentions multiple industry segments: hospitality, chemical production, oil refineries and the military. I found it interesting that the only "corporate" spokesperson is with the U.S. Coast Guard... Of course, crisis reporting in real time should include the affected companies; we'll be watching to see if any of them choose join the hurricane impact conversation, perhaps using YouTube as a mass communications tool. Better yet, have you tracked any good corporate responses so far?
