Our Standing Partnership team is still mourning the loss and celebrating the life of our friend and colleague, Amber Morris. We appreciate all of the flowers, cards and notes of encouragement we've received from our clients, partners and friends. Many of you have asked how you can join in honoring Amber's memory. After consulting with Amber's parents, Herb and Sharon Morris (a Standing team member), we can share their suggestion for memorial donations with you.

Amber Morris Memorial Scholarship Fund

Amber played an integral role in helping her boyfriend Shane lead efforts for Major League Development, an organization that helps talented young students develop their baseball skills. This scholarship fund is for athletes of Major League Development who are extending their playing career at the collegiate level. Please make checks payable to: Amber Morris Memorial.

Stray Rescue of St. Louis

Amber was an advocate for animals, and that passion extended from her work for the St. Louis PetLover Coalition to helping homeless animals in St. Louis. She opened her home to foster dogs for Stray Rescue, and even adopted her last foster, a rambunctious girl named Paisely.

I had the please of working with Amber Morris twice and found her to be a delightful, engaging person with a wonderful balance of warmth and professionalism.

I am sure she made a significanct contribution to The Standing Partnership and to all around her.
