Five Writing Prompts for Business Bloggers

If you're a client of Standing Partnership's, chances are we've asked someone on your team to blog or contribute to a blog. I believe we ask nearly all of our clients to contribute to some sort of content creation to support their communications efforts. We know it's hard to continue to create content about your business on an ongoing basis. We're here to help though, and provide for your use, five writing prompts to get you on your way.
If you use one of the following to create a blog post, do us a favor and link back to this post.
Five Writing Prompts for Business Blogger
- Share your passion. Take a few minutes and list all the reasons you're passionate about the business you work for and why that is -- then develop a blog post sharing that passion.
- Tell the story of how you started at the company. People are always interested in the history of a company, a leader in a company or the real-life story of how someone came to find a job they enjoy.
- Tell us three lessons you learned on the job. Better yet, tell us who taught these lessons to you.
- Show us where you work. We love posts that share a photo or video of your workspace. It helps us think of you as a real person with whom we do business, or maybe would like to do business, when we see where it is you spend most of your waking hours.
- Three roses; three thorns -- this one is harder to do, but we invite you to share three really shining moments in your company's service, and three instances where you could have done things a little bit better, and what you learned from that experience.
Now, go write and let us know if this helped.
