Wired magazine's Geekipedia landed in mailboxes, of the physical kind, this month. A supplement to the monthly edition of Wired, the Geekipedia outlines "149 people, places, ideas and trends you need to know now."
Aside from the obvious Facebook, MySpace, Flash, Googleverse and iPhone definitions, the all-things-online guide illiminates for us non-geeks BitTorrent (no, it's not a surprise seed in your grape), the Fake Steve Jobs (FSJ) and (musical) Mashups. It also examines the "Apple smackdown," Apple Corps. v.s. Apple Inc. case, and the emerging popularity of crowdsourcing, the digital cousin to outsourcing.
So, if you don't have a migraine by now, consider subscribing to Wired magazine to get the inside scoop this stuff every month. You'll be geekier for it, if that's any incentive!

Really informative; thanks! Interesting they are still doing a printed piece; proves that print still has a place among the new electronic tools. Having something on your shelf has its advantages.
