Happy Anniversary, Standing Partnership

This week marks something special at Standing Partnership. Today, the 25 of us will leave our desktops for a few hours to celebrate our 17th anniversary as a company. Where you ask? Mount Pleasant Winery, of course, where we'll toast our accomplishments throughout our history, reminisce about the challenges and funny stories we've shared along the way, and look ahead to the future.

A day at the winery among the ripening fall foliage sounds terrific. But for me, it's more than just a day away from work. Friday means celebrating what began as the vision of two women to create a great place to work and has become a blossoming company that we're proud to call our home away from home. When I began here, I knew I'd be building one of the best foundations that anyone entering the field could ever hope to gain. Today, worldwide clientele, complex industries and a variety of disciplines and capabilities are just a few of the things that make Standing an amazing place to be at any age or career stage.

So, what does the future hold for Standing? Certainly Cathy and Melissa can tell you the specifics. But one thing is certain. We'll continue to morph, diving into new capabilities, industries and geographic spaces as we ride the tide of the shifting economy. We'll sharpen our knowledge so that we're poised for success on the other side of the recession. And of course, we'll continue delivering excellent client service, because without our clients, we wouldn't be celebrating.
