Networking with the Most Influential Business Women in St. Louis

A few of us attended the St. Louis Business Journal's Most Influential Business Women awards last Friday, and we were literally and figuratively overwhelmed by these remarkable women. (Just a side note: our own Cathy Dunkin is an "Influential" alum, and her influence is the reason many of us are here at Standing!)

I was reflecting on why Standing representatives attend community events like this one--and it boils down to three key things:

  1. It's inspiring to hear the stories of opportunity and triumph; we leave the event in a good mood and are optimistic about the future of our region.
  2. We like to meet people. Nice people. Talented people. Smart people.
  3. We're challenged to achieve. By honoring the accomplishments of others, we set higher goals for ourselves.

Standing Partnership is fortunate to call many of these women clients, partners, associates and friends. Congratulations, and thanks to each of you for your positive influence!
