A few of us attended the St. Louis Business Journal's Most Influential Business Women awards last Friday, and we were literally and figuratively overwhelmed by these remarkable women. (Just a side note: our own Cathy Dunkin is an "Influential" alum, and her influence is the reason many of us are here at Standing!)
I was reflecting on why Standing representatives attend community events like this one--and it boils down to three key things:
