Planes and Pedicures

With the number of flight delays and cancellations I've experienced lately, I've come to expect that I'll be stranded at an airport for an extra few hours each time I travel.

That's why I was so happy to read my St. Louis Business Journal daily update e-mail to find out that XpresSpa will open two locations at Lambert-
St. Louis International Airport. The locations should be open in about six months.

If you're going to be stuck at an airport, why not get a pedicure while you're there!

Brilliant idea! Especially after trudging barefoot through the security checkpoint.

I remember the first time I ever enjoyed spa services at an airport - and it was with you at the Indianapolis airport! We were SO excited to find that spa after a long week of meetings - it was a little slice of heaven that got us through airport hell with a smile on our faces. grin

I love XpresSpa. I had lay over and their massage services are great. Very relaxing.

I feel bad to burst your bubble about XpresSpa but…...............did you know that the company has several lawsuits pending involving knowingly hiring employees who are NOT LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS to perform neck, back, hand/arm, and foot massage?

Clients have received massages from these employees resulting in SERIOUS PERMENANT INJURIES. These corporate execs don’t mind as long as their pockets are lined with your cash.

In some states they are currently paying large fines for breaking state laws put in place to protect the public’s health.
