While the majority of the Standing Partnership team lives and works in St. Louis, Mo., I make my home and office in Charlottesville, Va. I moved to Charlottesville two years ago and have been busy establishing the east coast satellite office of the firm ever since.
Building a satellite office in a new city takes a process of steps. In the first year, I did not look for new business but instead studied the area, its businesses and culture while serving clients in other places by telecommuting and traveling. In the second year, I became involved in the community, working with a community partner and one local client but also joining boards and volunteering my time and talent to local organizations. In this, the beginning of my third year here, I'm actively seeking clients by engaging in conversation with contacts, meeting with prospects to explain more about what we do and how we can help their business.
The year is off to a good start and I'm eager to develop new business relationships in the city I now call home. If you're in Charlottesville and looking for a top-notch PR firm, here we are! You can reach me at mjaggers at standingpr dot com.
