This week's What We're Reading focuses on social media.

  • An AdAge article notes that ComScore started publishing data on YouTube's channel partners earlier this week. Although the article is careful to note that experiences with TV and YouTube are very different, the new data may be similar to Nielsen ratings for TV.
  • A Bloomberg Businessweek article, "Is Google+ Starting to Get on Facebook's Nerves?", outlines Google+'s entry into the social media world and the competition between Facebook and Google.
  • Mediabistro.com posted an interesting and amusing infographic breaking down stats of answers to questions like "Why did you unfollow me?" and "Am I tweeting too much?"
  • A Fast Company article highlights five tips B2B business can follow to master Google +. Among the tips are watching what companies are doing in test accounts, keeping an eye on other small businesses and hiring a consultant or agency to help manage your Google+ account.
