If you need advice on management, why not turn to the boss? The Boss, Bruce Springsteen.
As Springsteen's latest tour rolled into Washington, D.C., the hometown paper did a Q&A interview with Nils Lofgren, who grew up in the Washington area and has been playing with Springsteen since 1984. From that interview, executive coach Scott Eblin, who blogs on GovernmentExecutive.com, found these "greatest hit" thoughts for managers:
I'm indebted to a fellow Springsteen fan who works for the federal government for passing along Eblin's post and the Washington Post interview that inspired it.
Maybe we should all reignite our fire by dusting off some half-forgotten hits from our youth.
