In support of Maritz Inc.'s strategic business objective to create a high-performance culture, Standing Partnership helped the company build a comprehensive internal communications program from the ground up. In addition to ongoing research and communications initiatives, the team also implemented a strategic approach to successfully manage issues and communicate organizational change. The program featured two-way communications through regular town hall meetings with the company CEO, an online chat session between executives and company employees, a retooled online newsletter and a popular $700 Club to recognize employees' individual cost savings efforts as well as a strategic process for the delivery and discussion of all corporate issues.

Outstanding Results
The above outreach to employees set the tone for active engagement in corporate strategy and productive dialogue about challenging corporate announcements, such as reorganizations and realignment of businesses. As a result of the team's nationally-recognized program, lines of communication within the corporation opened, leading to improved employee morale and greater two-way communication between company employees and senior leadership. As one employee stated after the program had been up and running for only nine months: “In general, people are happy and feel that they are more informed with the increased level of communication.”
