Film Action Oregon

Film Action Oregon owns and operates the historic Hollywood Theatre in Portland, Ore., supports independent filmmaking throughout the state of Oregon and offers educational opportunities for young, emerging filmmakers. Standing Partnership crafted a coordinated media and public relations outreach program in an effort to promote and expand awareness of the nonprofit organization and its many valuable contributions.

Outstanding Results

In February, Standing provided media relations support to promote Film Action Oregon’s annual fundraiser, Oscar Night® America at the Hollywood Theatre. The event was featured in all major Portland print media outlets, including the cover of the Portland Tribune and in the Oregonian, Portland Monthly, Portland Business Journal, Willamette Week, Portland Mercury and Just Out, as well as on KATU-TV. The event drew 312 attendees and raised more than $22,000 for the organization and its many programs.
