Delaware North Companies Sportservice - Opening Day 2006

With a brand new stadium in St. Louis and an all-star menu on tap, 2006 was poised to be a historical occasion for Delaware North Companies Sportservice. The company wanted recognition for its role in designing the operational components of the new Busch Stadium, as well as its 75 years of involvement with Major League Baseball and its unparalleled culinary offerings, ranging from haute cuisine to traditional game-day fare, at major league sporting venues around the country.

Outstanding Results

CNBC featured Sportservice operations at Busch Stadium on its show “On the Money.” Chefs Rolf Baumann and Jeramie Mitchell put on a show for the segment, showcasing the Sportservice’s innovative menu and 5,000-square-foot kitchen, the Scoreboard Patio and the upscale Cardinals Club. Standing Partnership’s media relations program for Opening Day 2006 also generated national exposure in key markets such as St. Louis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, San Diego, Milwaukee and Detroit. Placements included Yahoo! News, Associated Press, Nation’s Restaurant News, Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Kansas City Star, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Detroit Free Press and The Cincinnati Post.
