As a company and as individuals, we believe it is important to support the organizations in our communities that make our world a better place to live. On an annual basis, we select Community Partners. These organizations receive support through in-kind professional services or volunteer hours. In 2008, we selected the following organizations as Standing Partnership Community Partners:

Old Newsboys Day is a charitable program, first started by Duncan Bauman of the Globe-Democrat in 1957 and now led by Suburban Journals of Greater St. Louis, that raises funds for various children's charities. Every year on the Thursday before Thanksgiving, volunteers sell special edition Suburban Journal newspapers written by local high school students, highlighting regional charities that benefit from Old Newsboys Day funding. To date, the campaign has assisted more than 500 children's charities and has impacted more than 100,000 at-risk children in and around the St. Louis community. The mission of the Old Newsboys Day program is to ensure that children who are at risk in our community, because of abuse or poverty, receive adequate food, shelter, clothing and medical care and are provided equal opportunity for social development.
